Florida FWC

FWCThe Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) came into existence on July 1, 1999 – the result of a constitutional amendment approved by general election.

The FWC protects and manages more than 575 species of wildlife, 200 native species of freshwater fish, and 500 native species of saltwater fish. Balancing these species’ needs with the needs of nearly 19 million residents and millions of annual visitors is a challenge the FWC excels at.

Florida’s waterways are unique in their diversity and KeepAmericaFishing is thrilled to partner with FWC to keep them clean and abundant with fish.
